Rimmel 60 Seconds: Bright Back At You

I will start off by saying that this color has been the hardest to photograph and will admit to tweaking it in Photoshop, because for some reason it always ended up looking baby blue, which is a far cry from the turquoise it actually is.

With that being said, this is a great summer color!
I'm all about mint nail polishes and this color is simply the more "kapow!" version of that.
Not being the biggest Rimmel nail polish user in the past,I haven't really followed their collections too closely, but on a warm afternoon last week,I saw this polish staring at me at a ridiculously low price. And one does not simply ignore ridiculously low prices.
We're human,we're easily convinced by pricing!

So I gave it a go and shortly after I had it on my nails:

60 Seconds? Pretty muchI don't usually believe polishes that tell me they dry in 1,10 or 60 seconds, because well...they don't.
But this one, even if it went a bit over 60 seconds, did dry remarkably fast.
It also lasted surprisingly long. What I was also happy about was,it didn't stain my nails! The last Rimmel I tried left me a bit blue, which isn't too awesome to deal with.

Flat brush?
I've heard complaints about the flat brush, but I actually like it. It's cut in a curve so that it pretty much goes with the curve of your cuticles when you apply it. Means less mess, and we like it,oh yes! (What a sad attempt at doing a rhyme...I'll try again tomorrow)

Like I said,it was hard to photograph because as you can see here,it got the color in the bottle right and made my nails look blue.

Will I be wearing this again?
You bet I will!

  3. Such a pretty colour, I hate it when nail polish doesn't photograph true to colour. Using photoshop is a really good idea, I'd much rather see a picture thats been tweaked if it makes it look more like it does in person. I'd definitley buy this x

    1. I'm usually against photoshop,if it just makes a color overly perfect and ends up very far from the real deal but in this case,it was used to make it the real deal.
      stubborn camera! :P

  4. I have camera problems all the time! My camera has trouble picking up really intense colors. The polish is really pretty, though! :)
