Whenever fresh fruit start popping up, I'm the first one to go on a fruit diet. I love waking up and eating some fruity goodness! What I usually do is a smoothie.
Now I know that might not be for everyone, some need a more hearty breakfast, or at least a thicker texture. But have no fear, for that is possible!
Here's what you need:
I used: Mango, Papaya,Pears,Cranberries,Grapes And Buckthorn.
These are all packed with vitamins and other goodness that your body will thank you so much for!
It's part of the reason I love eating them, it's a total health boost!
What to do:
Cut them into pieces, like so
Then, just blend away!
You'll end up with the yummiest fruit paste!
The cranberries and the buckthorn are known to not be the sweetest of fruits ( also because of their high Vitamin C content) so you might wanna add a bit of sugar. Try cane or Muscovado sugar. They're a bit healthier variations.
Also be careful with the Papaya! When peeling it, peel a thick layer along with the skin ( approx an inch) , because if not, you will be left with a bitter taste.
Now just grab a spoon and enjoy! And I hope you feel your health levels rising!

The Lemonade Collection Recipe
We've all had lemonade and we've all appreciate its refreshing abilities at least once this summer.
What I hadn't realized until recently was, lemonade doesn't just mean lemons!
I had this epiphany one afternoon as I was sitting on a terrace and saw they had all sorts of lemonades on their menu. Raspberry Lemonade? Ginger Lemonade? Melon Lemonade? Tell me more!
What I can say is that I have become addicted to raspberry lemonade since,so I've been making it a lot.
My first question is: Can you make lemonade? If not,we will start with that.
What you need:
- Lemons (as much or as little as you want.I like the juice of about 2 squeezed lemons/ 500ml of soda )
- Sugar, preferably brown. There is no exact quantity for this. Add some, taste, add some more if needed.
- Soda or regular water, but soda makes it more bubbly and yummy.
- Fruit of your choice: you can do strawberry, raspberry, mango, peach, orange, melon, ginger, mint etc. Go wild!
What you need to do:
- Mix lemon juice, soda and sugar together
- Blend or mash your fruits if they are mashable, If it's an orange, just squeeze the juice and add some slices. If it's ginger, cut it in thin slices and squeeze it a bit so the flavor comes out
- Mix lemonade with fruit paste/juice/slices
- Throw in some ice cubes if you like to
And ENJOY!

Summer Tip : Smoothies
It's summer. It might or might not be very hot and sunny, but we know it's summer.
And what defines summer better than a delicious smoothie from super fresh fruit?
That's why I've gotten quite addicted to them. Today,I'm sharing one of my favorites with you:
The Watermelon Mango Smoothie
What you need:
I use a bit more watermelon than I do mango,as it contains more water and makes the smoothie more liquid. If you like a chunkier texture, then go nuts with the mango!
Put them in the blender, mix them until they get the smoothie shape and enjoy!
It is perfect for breakfast as it boosts your energy and vitamin levels and it serves as a yummy refreshment during any part of the day.
One of my absolute favorites for sure!
Try it out and let me know if you liked it :)
