MeMeMe Sunbeam Highlighter

A while back, I did a post on the Highlighter Addiction I seem to exhibit as I think that a well chosen highlighter can do much more than tons of foundation or other layers for the look of your face. ( This comes from someone who never uses foundation)
In that post, I was swooning about the Benefit SunBeam. Well, good news is, I finally found it!
Bad news is, the color looked like a carrot that had played with glitter. Needless to say, I was a bit bummed out about it.

But my salvation came soon! I was reading a blog post about how MeMeMe Cosmetics have an alternative version to the Benefit Highlighters and I managed to get hold of it really easy thanks to Mihaela's kind heart

Meet: MeMeMe Beat the Blues SunBeam

I'm a bit of a sucker for liquid highlighters and this one fits right in!
Same application as the Benefit range, and I'd dare to say, with a much better color!

The brush makes it super easy to apply anywhere you want  and very precise at that.

I've been using it continuously and I'm sure it's gonna go in my August Favorites!
It went on my cheekbones, under my eyebrows and even on my lips! May I say, it's the best looking lip color I've ever had!
I'm super satisfied with it and for me, it wins in a direct battle with the Benefit SunBeam.

 Here's the color and the lovely glow it gives. The glow may look subtle, but you'd be surprised how effective it is once it goes on your skin!

Polish Geometry: Star Wars Nails

Polish Days are upon us again! Talk about nail posts huh? You wanted nails, here's some more! :)

This time, with school starting, the theme that got chosen was Geometry.
Now you might think, "how on earth am I doing geometry on my nails?" and that was my first thought too, but then I decided to go a bit futuristic, if you can call it that.

The design is pretty basic, but the geometry that I went for was : STAR WARS
I used their writing, who indeed looks very geometric, and really hope there's no hardcore fans who will say that I ruined the Aurebesh alphabet by using it on my nails, but give a girl a break, you don't learn calligraphy in one day either .

Don't ask me to translate what my nails say, because I suspect there's some serious alien gibberish happening, not to mention a big chance of grammatical errors.

I went with black and white because as far as geometry goes, in my mind, the more monochromatic, the better.
And my index finger also reminded me of a Stormtrooper.

I think I'll try this again sometime because I had a lot of people going "Wow! What's that?" so it's definitely an eye catcher!

You can HELP! Blue Pinky Swear Against Bullying Campaign

Hey everyone!

A while ago,I found out about a campaign against bullying that MeanStinks are doing. It is called Blue Pinky Swear Against Bullying Campaign and as the name says, it implies painting the nail on your pinky blue to show support.

What I want is to do a post to raise some awareness because bullying,in all of its forms is an awful,awful thing! Sadly,it's moving more and more into new territories, like the web and not only.
School is also starting and that sadly means bad news for some. It's a heartbreaking reality that more and more young people have to suffer because of bullying and I think if you and I can do something about it, we should!
I will be doing a post with as many contributors as possible, and that means as many of you that want to join!



What To Do

Paint your pinky nail blue and take a picture of it. Any blue will do.Be creative or keep it simple,it's completely up to you.


What To Do With The Picture

You can either:

1. Do a blog post, describing what it is for ( The Blue Pinky Swear Against Bullying Campaign from MeanStinks) and linking it to the Man Blog Post (which will be the post on this blog). Then  you send me the link so I can include it into said Main Post
