Striping the Neon

Truth is, I'm obsessed with My New Perfect Neon . Which means I've had a hard time parting from it.So I decided to make it a weee bit interesting and play with it.

When I will be able,I will part with it for a day to show you some glitters,promise!
But til then:  Stripes!

If you'd like,I can also do a tutorial on getting them stripes on.But I can tell you now,all you need is tape :)

Poppin Neon : China Glaze Summer Neons Surfin' For Boys

My neons are here! I have been looking everywhere for my dream neon. And the dream neon can be described as "popping wow color!" (coherent,I know).
Luckily for me,the nice people at China Glaze had the same idea and with the help of Mihaela over at Lacquerbuzz their idea got on my nails too.
I had found a nice pink neon in winter,but was still on the prowl for a gorgeous summer coral shade.And I can now safely say: THIS IS IT.

When I applied it last night,I thought "well...this is more shiny than neon" but I was very mistaken. When I switched lighting I realized how neon this thing actually is. And it is perfect!

I have another of their neons: Hang Ten Toes - a very promising looking pink And that one will be up here soon. But for now,I'm enjoying my wonderfully summery nails!

First Post and The Sunset Nails!

Aaaaah,the dreaded first post!Feels like this is a make or break,when really it's just a step to better things. But less philosophy and more pictures I say! I'll start off with nails. I have an amazing fascination with nail polishes and "amazing fascination" is putting it very mildly.
What I'm showing you is an idea I got from watching a sunset. The base is OPI's Hot and Spicy and the gold is a gold from Farmasi that is sponged on. Sponging I say? Why yes indeed! A tutorial will follow,no worries!
I usually sponge when I want to do gradients,which means I  start from the top,not the bottom of the nail.This was pretty interesting to do,and quite messy around the nail beds too,but the gold polish was pretty sheer so it was an easy cleanup.
