November Favorites

                            
The cold season is upon us, but by the products I have picked up for November, you can see that cold wasn't that present last month. Worry not, it will be this month.
What I always need though is hand protection in the form of the Burt's Bees Banana and Beeswax Hand Cream and the ever so  cherished Lemon Butter Cuticle Butter.
Since we're at oils, my newest discovery is the Macadamia Oil I've been using on my face. It's in the same category as argan oil, in terms of not leaving oily residues on your face and working really well as a base.
And of course, my ever present Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in matters of the face. It's been the only thing on my face for probably a year now and I love the light coverage and actual fresh feel that it gives me. A clear keeper!

The two newest additions are the Sleek Blush in Rose Gold which we all know is a dupe for the ever so coveted NARS blush. Truth is, I'm more of a bronzer kind of person but the shade was so praised, I gave it a go and I'm quite impressed.
Now the thing that I ADORE this month is the Inglot AMC Matte Lip Pencil Shade 14. I mean, talk about that coveted " your lips but better" shade! This one is definitely it for me and it also goes a bit into nude, which I always look for in lip products. I'll have swatches for you up soon.

And because you can't have winter without candles, here's a bit of an atypical scent: Pomelo and Lychee from MUJI. It is perfectly fresh and delicious and works for any season!

September Favorites

I once said it would be a miracle for me to post my favorites on the first day of the month, as I tend to usually post favorites a wee bit late. Well, the miracle has yet to happen but guys! It's the 2nd and favorites are up. At least a pat on the back is in order I'd say.

                                
99% of this month's favorites are new ones, and all except my trusty Burt's Bees Peach & Willow Bark Deep Pore Scrub (review here) have been acquired in September or slightly before.

The Origins Drink Up Intensive face mask is basically everything and more they make it out to be. The one thing that really lives up to its hype. I mean, this thing is Fantastic!

I've been on the fence about getting the Benefit Sun Beam because they do say there are many dupes out there and the price is not fully justifiable. But I was in Boots one day and they had this cute Benefit mini pack which also contained the Sun Beam and I have to say, I am impressed! It lasts much longer than any of the dupes and the tiniest amount results in a beautiful glow.

Another thing that has recently reached me is the Burt's Bees Lemon Cuticle Butter and so far I'm really happy with it. Does its job SO well and smells amazing! Review to follow very soon,I'm just making it jump through more hoops at the moment.

Then of course, the Maybelline Color Tattoos. I've been using On and on Bronze most,but as you can see, I gracefully grabbed the wrong one. Nevertheless, everything about them impresses me: lasting power, color,texture...everything!

Moving on to lip love, I have become obsessed with the Top Shop Lip Crayons ( Review here ) . All I can say, this is what made me love mattes again. And of course, the beauty that is the Revlon Lip Butter    ( review also found here ). It's my go-to lip product at the moment. Sheer but strong enough to make an impact and beautifully moisturizing!

July Favorites

Having managed to post my favorites much sooner than last month, I will give myself a pat on the back before we begin. And as we begin, I will tell you that I am super excited about the things I've been using this past month.

                               
Last month I was telling you all about how thrilled I was with the Real Techniques Shading Brush. Well sure enough, I went and got the Blush Brush also. I have little use for the other brushes since I don't wear powder or foundation but my eyes are set on the Eye brush set they offer. What I'm trying to say is: there brushes are magnificent! This particular one manages to give you the ultimate natural looking flush in the cheeks. Color me impressed!

What I also think you have seen me swoon about were the Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser and the Peach and Willow Bark Deep Pore Scrub. I can tell you that these two are a magnificent combination and SO good to the skin!

A consistent presence has also been Essie Mint Candy Apple.I mean, I strongly suspect I have an obsession as you can probably tell.

In the nose pleasing department, I've been sticking to Yardley English Lavender for interesting reasons. I am a fan of fresh floral smells in general and this one is definitely of the less fresh and more dusty variety but nevertheless the smell is so incredibly soothing that whenever I catch a whiff of it, I get very happy.

Of course, one that cannot be denied access on this list is the Badger Balm for Hardworking Hands. My skin is generally dry and on my hands especially, but this one really does the trick.

And last but not least, a weird addition to the group. A deo. I know my reaction to deodorants in beauty posts is generally "But...why?" and I can understand if that's what you're experiencing now, but the Tom's of Maine Honeysuckle Rose deo is here for two reasons: it smells so good! And secondly because this represents my switch to aluminum free deos. This is a natural stick and once I started using it I realized I may have been very allergic to the aluminum in regular deodorants. So I can advise you, if you have a Whole Foods nearby, or care to buy it off iHerb.com, do so. Your body will like it a lot.

June Favorites

It's July. Just take a moment to think about that. More than half of the year has passed and I really can't believe it. It's like spring was just starting yesterday. Crazy! But it also means it's time for some new favorites to appear.

Of course, by the time summer hits, I use less and less things on my face and as you can see, there's almost no make-up in here.

What I was incredibly astounded by was the Real Techniques Shading Brush. I mean, you hear things about a product and you hear everyone hyping it up but you don't really expect it to be THAT great.And then you try it and it's beyond that great.

Let's stick to the face and say that I've found a surprisingly good white pearly eyeshadow. Just perfect for that little highlight on your inner eye corner and on the brow bone. It was sitting there in Boots, at the Natural Collection stand and basically, I just accidentally looked at it as that display really doesn't look too appealing. But guys, the shade is magnificent! It's called White Opal and that is basically what it looks like also.

One more for on the face is the Mario Badescu Enzyme Revitalizing Mask. My thing with Mario Badescu products is that some contain parabens and I prefer not interacting with those, but this mask is clear of that and leaves my skin in the most splendid condition!

Moving on to lips and not only, I think you've seen me swoon about the Moa Balm  a lot, and for good reason. It cleanses,it hydrates, it heals, it basically does everything in just one miracle balm. If I use it as my last step in removing makeup I get the happiest skin you could think of, and it seems to work wonders for acne also.

Balm-wise, I'm overjoyed to have gotten the Nuxe Reve de Miel because it's so thick and efficient, you just need to apply it once a day to get immediate results. Needless to say, I've gotten to the stage where balm is not a necessity anymore, all thanks to this little pot.

Then the nails of course. Favorites have been Essie's Mint Candy Apple and Barry M Greenberry. If my mint obsession was not obvious until now: here you go! You can see the Essie swatch Here and the Barry M one Here .

Hair - wise, I'm a devoted Aussie user, but since on my trip to London I only had hand luggage with me, it meant I could only do minis. And so it came to pass that the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner and John Frieda Full Repair met and formed the most beautiful pair in hair history. I cringe at the thought that my 3 Minute Miracle is about to run out, but one cringeworthy thought at a time I say. Keeping it optimistic.

The same kind of London circumstances happened with me buying the Body Shop White Musk Libertine Eau de Parfum. It was there, I was there, I saw it, I smelled it, and even if I usually am not a fan of musky things, this pink thing somehow attached itself to my nostrils in quite a convincing manner. And here we are, still as happy as ever with each other.

Best of May

Are you guys aware it's June already? It was just May! Heck, it was just winter and now it's almost summer again. Pretty amazing how time flies, but in case it flew too fast, here's a recap of what happened on the blog this past month.

                           
We of course started off with April Favorites. As you can see from the picture, we had quite a few of 'em

What followed was the yummy 4 - Step DIY Banana Oatmeal Face Mask.

And since I was feeling in need to green up my diet, I wrote about How Easy You Can Fix Unhealthy Eating Habits.

To top it all off, we all know I'm a sucker for nail polish so it started with the Top 10 Polishes For Spring and ended last Monday with Ombre Dotted Nails ( which, may I say, might just be my favorite mani of the month)

April Favorites

                             
Springtime means happy face time, because the sun is mild enough to give you a tan while not burning and the light and warmth are just the thing your skin needed after surviving the winter.
Which means last month I was more focused on the well-being of my skin.
A great tip I've picked up recently was to use thermal water after washing my face, in order to neutralize all the nasty things that are lurking in tap water. Like calcar or other substances that only dry your skin out.
It obviously translated into using the Avene and Oxyance Thermal Water. I can obviously not say one is better than the other,and in all honesty, I have not compared their mineral composition. But what I can say is that they both have been nothing but great to my skin.
I love the city rescue line that Oxyance use, because their products are specifically made to save your skin from the uglies of city living. Same goes for their incredibly smelling Lip Balm.

For the body,the Ivatherm Sensitive Skin Body Hydrating Cream is nothing short of spectacular. Zero bad ingredients but also full of thermal water. I'm very picky when it comes to moisturizers and very few things make it on my skin apart from shea butter, but this is truly a great thing. Hydrates properly and doesn't leave that uncomfortable sticky feeling.

The best smeller of the bunch is Lush Ro's Argan. This sample was given to me at a great beauty bloggers event and the second I smelled it, I was hooked. Not to mention it is a whole other level of moisturizing.Am definitely thinking of buying the full size.

And now, for colorful matters. Spring nail polishes are definitely Australis SweetPea and the incredible Bondi Botanical Beauty.Both are such perfect shades to wear this time of year. Bright enough for spring and pastel enough to be perfectly girly.
And the beautiful Rimmel Apocalips in Nude Eclipse. Never has a shade suited me better and it might just be the perfect nude I've been looking for.

Of course,let's not forget my go-to BB cream from Mybelline.The only one that really leaves my skin feeling fresh and translates from winter needs to spring needs impeccably.

March Favorites

Fashionably late as usual, I give you: March favorites!

To be honest, there initially was a very different lineup for this post but at the end of March, some goodies arrived and even after a pretty short period of testing, I have been HUGELY impressed.

                           

Moa Green Balm
I have been using this for everything, from cuticles to lips, to face and hands. It is a universal savior and a definite repurchase. It has helped all my exposed parts during the freezing winter days, cold and wind. And with the dry skin that I'm sporting, it's quite magnificent to be able to do that. 

Nuxe Reve de Miel

Have almost all of us heard of the supernatural powers of this balm by now? I know I've stumbled upon nothing but praise. Even so, I wasn't too keen to believe everything because it sounded too good. Well you know what? It is THAT good! I'll have a proper review up soon and you will be able to hear all about how it has turned my lips from papyrus to velvet.

Eyeko Skinny Liner

I'm a gel eyeliner girl. Very dedicated to the gel cause, but boy oh boy this liner has shocked me. It has unbeatable lasting power. And I do mean unbeatable. No smudging, no moving, and seriously intense black. I could definitely be converted to this liner.

Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara

My fondness for Eyeko is quite great and in case you haven't noticed how obsessed I am with this mascara, I suggest you click on the link above to get to the review I did of it. 

Rimmel Apocalips in Nude Eclipse

I have been wanting to get my hands on this ever since I first saw it and I was right to want it! It's the best kind of lip product. Liquid but with a lipstick finish that is not too shiny and not too matte. Just right and especially great for dry lips that sometimes I prefer to not put lipstick,but more liquid products on.

L'Occitane Hand Cream

Along with the MOA balm, this is still a great friend for when the hands are about to give up. It has got to be the thickest and most efficient hand cream I have ever tried.

And now to the favorite polishes: Sally Hansen The Real Teal and Barry M Mint Green.

Hema Eyeshadow Base - My Perfect Base

The time has come to show you my absolute favorite eyeshadow base. I've tried many but I always get back to this one.

It's the Hema Eyeshadow Base with, wait for it....Vitamin E and Silk. Silk? Yes silk. Sound great and is just as great.
I discovered it a couple of years ago when I started being in the Netherlands a whole lot, but back then I was just an avid eyeliner user, so just keeping that on was enough for me and was also the only criteria I could judge it on.

Well, I was lucky enough to always have a spare tube, but I misjudged my consumption last time and was left high and dry for a couple of months. During that time I started using more and more eyeshadow and noticed how during the day it would crease. Especially on my left eye. My right one just lets anything sit for however long. Can't really explain why one creases and the other doesn't.
In any case, this is when I noticed I needed my handy dandy base and did my best to get it.


And man am I happy I have it back!
Talk about long lasting eyeshadow!  Now I can actually judge its lasting power properly since it makes anything stick and stick...and stick...and you get the idea. Also, because of its ingredients, it's perfect for the tender skin on your eyelids.
Not to mention the fact that it gives you a gorgeous glow. I don't know if you can see the shimmer too well, but it's there and it's great. Imagine applying your eyeshadow on that.

The applicator is very practical but I still like to pat it in with my fingertips. The only downside is that eventually, you have trouble taking the product out of the tube with the wand BUT worry not, for you can cut the tube in  half and just scoop it out in a little container.

All in All
This is the perfect eyeshadow base to me! Great ingredients, great shine, great feel and most importantly, great hold!

January Favorites

This month there's not so many favorites but they're definitely Most Used Products

                            

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream: You can read the review by clicking on the link and I have to say, I didn't expect to like this so much. Was reluctant to getting a BB cream to begin with but I'm quite glad I did!

Vichy Waterproof Eye MakeUp Remover: Still loving it, especially combined with Bioderma Sensibio you can also see in the favorites. My review of the Vichy MakeUp Remover you can read clicking on the link above and I do believe that I have now found a pretty solid face routine that is amazing. I don't wash my face anymore with water because Bioderma covers that perfectly AND does not dry out my skin. 
The little bottle you see here was the test size I got to see if I like it and just today I got the big bottle, which is a pretty big deal. I repurchase veeeery rarely.

Hema Eyeshadow Base: Review is on the way and I have to day, I have yet to find an eyeshadow base that is as amazing as this one. Absolutely loving it!

Catrice Gel Eyeliner: Still such a huge favorite. A holy grail product and especially in winter, that perfectly thick black line makes for an efficient, fast look.

Rosebud Strawberry Lip Salve: Two years in and still my favorite balm. I go back to this when everything else fails. And this one always delivers. But it's been getting increasingly hard to get hold of it,so if someone can give me a tip where to get it, I'd be VERY grateful!

Nail Polishes:  This month has been Glitter Revival Month and the W7 Silver Dazzle  has been great for it. You can see it in my post from Sunday with the Week in Pictures and I think you'll agree it looks fantastic.
Secondly I have this ancient Farmasi polish whose number has disappeared but that still is the best gold I have owned. You can see it in action in This Post.

My Top Blogs of 2012

This week has been the week of 2012, hasn't it? Well, now we are close to the grand finale, where I will show you the blogs I have read most this past year.

They are in no particular order, so that nobody gets offended by the random position they were given.

Eva Chen's Tumblr is not just a beauty blog, but Eva Chen was the beauty editor of Teen Vogue so you can be sure she knows her beauty products. I think I owe a bit of my beauty obsession to her.

Hannahjustyne's Deliciously Cute Blog!Hannah was one of the very first beauty bloggers I got along really 

well with and I'm really glad to have met her.

Misslipgloss.nl is a dutch blog and I think one of the first I started following

Be a Masterpiece is a romanian blog I used to follow and in a ridiculous twist of fate, I ended up working in the same office with its author. It was really funny discovering we wrote the blogs the other one was reading.

Much like with Hannah's blog, I really like Sandra's Blog because of the cuteness and the homey feeling I get when I visit it.

Essie Button is one of my favorites, mainly because of the videos. It's always fun to just sit there and watch them.

I discovered What I Heart Today late last month but really enjoyed it and it went very fast on my everyday checking list.

That's what I liked and still like reading. I'm looking forward to adding even more awesome blogs to my list.

And don't think that if it's not listed here I don't read it and like it, this is just a VERY small list, because if I would have listed all, you'd be scrolling til the morning.

My Favorite Face Oils

I have concluded that my dry skin doesn't really react that good to creams, moisturizers or serums. What I have discovered is that my skin LOVES natural oils and butters!  
So here are the oils that are very good to my skin, especially through the winter months.

Argan Oil: is what I use on a daily basis now. It's perfect as a make-up base also. You wouldn't think it is because well...it's an oil. But it has no oily residue and your skin just feels moisturized a few seconds after applying it.
I use it before going to bed and in the morning. Especially in winter, you need an extra barrier against the cold and I find this to be ideal.
By now, I would suppose we all know what argan oil can do, having great anti aging properties and moisturizing gorgeously. Another thing I do with it is apply some on my hands and hair before going to bed. It really reduces the need for hand cream and in the hair department, it really helps with keeping it from drying out, especially with long hair like mine, where the tips are always at risk.

Apricot Kernel Oil: I use this more in summer, as it's lighter than many of the other oils and doesn't mind the heat. I've written a review about it HERE where you can read all about the great things it can do.

Rosehip Oil: I like to mix it with other oils, but when I use it alone it gives my skin an incredibly gorgeous glow.This one also falls into the category of oils full of antioxidants and anti-wrinkle/aging properties. I prefer to use it at night, after cleaning my face, because at night your skin is at its thirstiest and will appreciate the help even more.

And now, to the heavy duty oils

                          
Avocado Oil: I use this oil, like the next one I will show you, when I need extra moisturizing. It's not an everyday kind of oil, not even for insanely dry skin such as mine, because it is very effective in what it does and there's no need to overdo it. When I feel I need an extra boost of vitamin E and hydration I got for the avocado oil. 
If you have acne or itchy skin, it's even better, since it will soothe your skin.
And if we're talking super antioxidants, this oil is definitely the place to go. 

I saved the bast for last, as you do, and that is

Pomegranate Oil: When I don't use it as a face oil, I use it as an eye cream. Honest! This is my ultimate dry skin savior, as only one use on the face will cure any dryness.
This oils has the best wrinkle fighting, age signs reducing and hydrating properties of all. That's why it's also perfect for the skin around your eyes.It has a very thick texture so you will need very little of it. 
Pomegranate seed oil adds moisture, anti-oxidants, is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, improves skin elasticity, and protects the skin. It provides relief from minor skin irritations and inflammation, including dry skin, eczema, psoriasis and sunburned skin.
I'd like to add it in the "great oils" category and is definitely a huge favorite.

If I'd have to chose, I'd probably always have Argan and Pomegranate oil with me.

Whatever oil you use or plan on using, make sure they are unrefined and as little messed around with as possible, or else many of the benefits or the oils will be lost.

October Favorites

Guess who's late, late again?
Yes I'm late, tell a friend!

Well yes, my October Favorites are being presented a bit after the end of October but I've only now gotten around to it.
I promise to do it sooner next month.

Let's start with the face.
Much like last month, I've been liking what the Organic Rose Water Face Toner and my trusty Sheepmilk Tinted Moisturizer have been doing. Even in Holland weather (which implies numerous and continuous little hits of rain, hale and other atmospheric disturbances) my face managed to keep its cool and still stay hydrated. Which is a big deal to me, since my skin is dry and the colder it gets, the more moisture it needs.
I've started adding some apricot oil to this whole routine, where I apply the oil before the tinted moisturizer for an extra splash of moisture.

Still on the face, the Paw Paw Lip Balm has been delivering some great results ever since I started using it. I just got a Dr. Organic Lip Serum, for the colder times in life and think I'm going to be alternating between the two.

Of course, my trusty Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara makes another appearance. Ever since I got it in July, we've been real good friends. Let's see what mascara can change that.

And last but not least, the nails.
Autumn makes me like the pastels and the metallics.So I find this pretty nude to be just the thing. It's Essie Brooch the Subject and it's remarkably nude! Really liked wearing it.
And of course, the dupe of all dupes, the lizard in Peridot clothing Catrice Genius in a Bottle. I didn't think I'd like it this much, but in two quick layers, it went right up my list of likes.

And what my hands have been really proud about is the I love....Raspberry and Blackberry Hand Cream. Not only does it smell too delicious to handle, it also has nice ingredients in it and has been the best at keeping my hands safe from dryness.

September Favorites!

It's that time again!

I know, it took me long enough to post this, didn't it?
Well here we go, my favorite things from the past month.

You'll see some good ol' friends and some new faces.
And since we're speaking of faces, let's start with that.

Favorites for my Face

As you might have noticed, I don't plaster my face with much, but these two are very very handy together.
The MeMeMe Sunbeam still holds its spot as favorite illuminator and you can read my review about it HERE

The Tinted Moisturizer from Florex I've also recently introduced to you in This Post and it will stay with me until the sun starts shining very brightly again.

Let's move on to The Eyes, shall we?

I'm very much a sucker for Gel Eyeliner and this one from Catrice is still my favorite. If you haven't tried it yet, want to, or don't know what kind of liner can work best for you, I suggest you check out my post about Picking Eyeliners.

Eyeko Fat Brush once more! I think you know by now I really like this mascara, but in case you don't, let me direct you to the post where you can find out why I like it so much. It's Right HERE.

Let's not forget the eyelash curler.This brilliant invention makes any lashes look 10 times better! I can't imagine not using it every single day.

And last,but not least: Nails!

August Favorites!

Can't believe it's been another month already! I feel like I just did the July Favorites post and here I am doing the next one. If spring comes just as fast, we will have no problems.

Here is what I've really been liking during this past month. Some I have just discovered and already added them to the 'much liked' pile, some favorites have stayed but I figured it would be useless to post them again, so here is a post of the favorites you have not seen yet.

MeMeMe Beat the Blues Sunbeam Highlighter

As it happens, it was just yesterday that I posted about this product and you can read everything HERE.What I am willing to say again and again is that I've been wearing this a lot ever since I got it and I am incredibly satisfied with the color. I'm a fan of things looking natural on my face and this does a great job with that!

BarryM Aqua Glitter

After the first time I used it, this has instantly become my favorite glitter. It's been an almost permanent resident on my nails. Now you might wonder what it looks like. Wonder no more, as you can admire it in all of its glory right HERE.

Apricot Oil

I cannot begin to describe how perfect this oil works with my skin. My face has been looking better than ever since I started using it. I've stumbled upon it by accident to be honest, and I have not regretted buying it for a moment! You can also read all about the amazing benefits it has, in this POST.

Catrice Mr. Copper's Fields Eye Shadow

I do find this to be the perfect summer shade. A fine copper glow that makes your skin look beautiful, especially with a bit of a tan.If you're curious what it looks like worn on my eyelids, then you're click away HERE.
For me, it is definitely a favorite shade!

Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara

How do I even begin to describe this beautiful thing?  The more I've been using it, the more I started liking it.

First and foremost, it's a Fiber Mascara . Click on the link to see why I am so completely and utterly in love with Fiber .
And when it comes to the Eyeko Fat Brush, it comes with all the things I love AND with the Eyeko Shield. What is that you ask? Only the most clever invention EVER!  And the more I've used it, the more I've managed to get the mascara on flawlessly!

Hey everyone! I'm Helena from The Edge of Beauty :) Joanna and I are doing a swop on our blogs today. Both of us are sharing some of our favorite products with the other's readers. I couldn't pick one favorite beauty product. I'm a beauty blogger and I have an addiction to so many different brands that it is hard to pick one over the other. Therefore I have tried to show you three products that I have found relatively recently that you may not have heard about/tried and I hope you will like.

Firstly we have the Mac Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel... I know, it's a mouthful! This was released with a recent collection from Mac called Heavenly Creatures Skin. It claims to leave you skin feeling soft and supple whilst hydrating it at the same time. I instantly fell in love with it when I tested it out in store and I have been addicted ever since. I have never used a moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling as soft as cashmere. It really is an amazing product and what’s better is that it performs well for me. I have oily/combination skin and therefore moisturizers can leave me feeling a little bit greasy. Thankfully the gel formulation helps to prevent that. So if you suffer with oily skin like myself, this could be a great solution for you.

Secondly we have the Taaj Eau Micellaire De L'himalaya, or as I like to call it, the best magic water ever! I discovered this for the first time when it arrived in my JolieBox a few months ago now. Since then I have gone on to repurchase a 500ml bottle and in my eyes nothing beats it. This cleansing water helps to remove all of your makeup in a gentle way. There is no need to cleanse your face afterwards but I still tend to do this. I have tried other cleansing waters such as the No7 version but that one can occasionally make me break out whereas I find that this one keeps my skin in immaculate condition. I am very happy with this product and it is definitely a keeper.

Finally we have the No17 Mirror Shine Lipstick in Beehive. I actually got recommended this by one of my readers and it is one of the best purchases I have made. This is the perfect pink nude lip that gives your lips some shine and life without needing any lip gloss. It also helps to keep your lips moisturizes better than any other standard lipstick would. Having said this, I wouldn't say that this is it's best quality. It looks stunning in pictures and is incredibly easy to apply. It’s cheap and overall a great everyday easy lipstick to wear. I would recommend this to people who are starting out with lipsticks and don't want to try anything to daring.

July Favorites

This past month,I've been using very few products as temperatures have been above 30C almost each day.
With that heat,I personally like my skin to be able to breathe and feel light so less really has been more in July.
That's why I'll show you my favorite beauty products of the month.

Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer and Highlighter

I've been using this one for years now and am still liking it a lot. The great thing about it is that it adapts to your skin and will actually, well...match to perfection.

Another thing I like is that it is also a highlighter and doesn't just act as your regular concealer. I've given a number of other concealers a go,just to have an alternative in case of emergency. From Estée Lauder to Benefit,nothing worked as well as this one. It also is quite cheap: 7.99€  and lasts a very long time.

Of course you will want to change it out regularly ,as it has a brush tip and might end up causing more bad than good once bacteria gets on it, but it is worth it.

Catrice Black Gel Eyeliner 

Last year gel eyeliners started getting popular and as an avid consumer of eyeliner I wanted to give it a try.It quickly turned out that it was much easier to maneuver and had a much better coverage. That's when I was hooked and remained hooked ever since.To be honest,Catrice was the first one I found,and I kinda just stuck with it since I was satisfied.

To me,eyeliner and mascara can easily be enough make-up,and gel eyeliner serves its purpose really,really well.

Manhattan Multi Effect Eyeshadow in Cotton Candy

This one is just a very,very pretty and subtle pink that brightens up the eyes and works amazingly well with eyeliner.

Eyeko Fat Brush Mascara

I suggest you read my post about it ,because it has very quickly become on of my favorite mascaras!

Vichy 3 in 1 One Step Cleaner

The best thinkg to have ever happened to my make-up removal routine. It is a cleansing milk,toner and eye make-up remover in one. I can honestly say that there is nothing my eyes appreciate more than this. It's very gentle on them and successfully removes even the most attached eye make-up. I'm super pleased with it and will write a full review about it soon!

I Love... Raspberry & Blackberry Hand Cream

Summer,sun...dried out hands. Not only cold gets to them,but heat and sun exposure too.As I already have dry hands and nails that are at risk of becoming brittle,I always have some hand cream in my bag. This one just happens to smell so good!

China Glaze Surfin' for Boys

Oh coral neon,how I love the! This one was adoration at first wear,and since it is a neon,it is perfect for summer. About this one,you can read all my swooning right Here.
